Kindred Bay is best described as a visual exploration of music and sound. Created by accomplished filmmakers Keenan Parry of New York and Ason Intrigue of Hampton Virginia, they take cues from such esteemed acts as Squarepusher, Bjork and The Gorillaz; mashing together electronic and punk-influenced soundscapes with films ranging from psychedelic animation, to sci-fi and gritty drama. Fresh from crafting jaw-dropping videos for the likes of RJD2 and Blueprint (Weightless/Rhymesayers) as well as labelmates Ill Poetic & HuntorPrey, Kindred Bay sets the stage for their proper introduction on the new Definition Music platform.
